GAME PLAY
‘What’s Next?’ is an exciting game in the puzzle section of TIMEOUT. This game is super fun, with its captivating animations and sound effects. This game has different missions and you have to play on to unravel them. The game is presented in a story form which begins with a narration and directs you to play the game. You have to follow the instructions to continue playing.
WHO IS THE HERO?
So, when you begin, an animation of a soldier entering the war field and fighting enemies is shown. When that scene is complete, another set of instructions/ narration appears.
As you follow the instructions, the game proceeds. Here is where the actual game begins. You are now the soldier who has to fight the war. But you are nothing like the previous soldier. In this mission, you have move towards the camp without getting hit by the missiles.
You have to escape the missile by moving forward or backward. The farther you go, the more points you earn, but you have to take care of your stamina and the missiles approaching. The STAMINA counter at the top shows the stamina left in you. If you run faster, you will lose your stamina quickly and then you’ll have to wait to get your breath back. And when the missile comes at this moment, you will not be able to run. You can see your score also on the top.
EXTRA LIVES
You do have extra lives which can be seen at the top left-hand side. Once your extra lives are over, the game gets over if you are hit by the missile. You have to start the game again then.
Once you have reached the camp, the animation continues where an UFO comes and takes you in it. The total score is shown after this. You can continue playing the game by following the instructions given.
ONE SOLDIER MANY ROLES
As the name of this game suggests, you do not know what is next, because in the game you have to take up many roles. As the game progresses, the war scene changes to different scenes. After being a soldier, you then become an UFO where you have to pass through a field picking cows, then a whale evading submarines and so on.
The game moves forward in an adventurous and thrilling way and you look forward to your future missions.
STORY
Imagine you had this wild dream, where you are a soldier fighting a war and the next moment you become a whale or UFO. Your dream is full of twists and turns and is weird in such a way that you think, ‘What’s Next?’
